About Us
Inspired by her Gullah roots, Sheryl Bauknight, a native of Charleston, SC, grew up experiencing love through the savory dishes her grandmother prepared and served for their community. These cherished traditions and recipes, passed down through generations, ignited Sheryl’s passion for creating memorable culinary experiences for others.
Discouraged by the lack of Gullah cuisine in Charlotte, NC, Sheryl decided to introduce “Charleston’s Kitchen” to her community. With the unwavering support of her husband and Co-Founder, Scott Bauknight, they share a vision of bringing food that honors her Gullah traditions and roots to the people of Charlotte.
Group Orders
Orders over a total of $75 will be delivered within a 25 mile radius. Any group orders over 25 miles will incur an additional.
Full Servicer Catering
Includes: Food and Beverage set-up, staff for serving, and breakdown
Vendor Events
Preparing food and/or beverages on-site to sell. $200 deposit at time of booking but will be waived if sales meet or exceed the deposit fee.
